Laurent Theophile D’Artagnan
Independent philosophical researcher and writer
An independent philosophical project centered on metaphysics, intelligibility, continuity, and reference.
MARP — Metaphysics of the Absolute and Reference Points stands at the center of this work as an ongoing framework concerned with the conditions under which intelligibility becomes possible.
Who I Am
Laurent Theophile D’Artagnan is an independent philosophical researcher and writer working primarily in metaphysics.
His work is concerned with the conditions under which intelligibility becomes possible, how continuity is sustained under finite conditions, and how major philosophical problems may be reinterpreted through differentiation, attribution, reference points, and the constrained economy of measurement.
The Central Project
At the center of this site is MARP — Metaphysics of the Absolute and Reference Points, a philosophical framework that rethinks identity, time, memory, causality, logic, truth, consciousness, meaning, and ethics through a unified conceptual structure.
Rather than beginning from fixed essences, final foundations, or absolute identity, the project begins from a more basic problem: how does difference become readable, how does understanding continue, and how does order remain possible under constrained conditions?
The Work on This Site
The work presented here is not organized as a set of isolated writings. It belongs to a broader and ongoing philosophical project.
The foundational book provides the principal systematic presentation of the framework, while the essays and articles extend, clarify, and apply its concepts across more focused philosophical questions and thematic inquiries.

This Website
This website serves as the central public home of the project. It brings together the core book, conceptual pages, related writings, bibliographic records, archival platforms, and public research profiles in one structured location.
It is intended for academic readers, independent researchers, and general readers interested in metaphysics and intelligibility.
Closing Note
This page introduces the author of an ongoing philosophical project centered on intelligibility, continuity, and reference. Readers seeking the framework itself may continue to the MARP section or begin with the foundational book.
